From Childhood Pedicures to Medical Nail Care: The Journey of Sarai Quinice

Full name
May 12, 2025

At just eight years old, Sarai Quinice began offering pedicures to friends and family, unknowingly laying the foundation for a career in preventative podiatry. Inspired by Ms. Ann, her grandmother’s 86-year-old neighbor, Sarai found the confidence and purpose to pursue this path. After studying acting and business management at Marymount Manhattan College, the COVID-19 pandemic shifted her trajectory. In 2021, she committed her life to Christ, gaining clarity to focus on podiatric care. A part-time job at a local nail spa didn't meet her expectations, motivating her to establish her own venture. Now, as the owner of Rye’tious Nails in Drexel Hill, Delaware County, Sarai offers services ranging from routine maintenance to prosthetic toenail restoration, aiming to provide both spiritual and medical healing to clients with various foot ailments.

Rye’tious Nails combines Sarai’s nickname, “Rye,” with a play on “righteous servitude,” reflecting her commitment to holistic care. Her dedication has garnered praise from professionals like Dr. Danial Khalifa, a podiatrist in the Philadelphia and New Jersey area, who commends her kindness, teamwork, and inspiring motivation.

Looking ahead, Sarai envisions expanding Rye’tious Nails into franchised services, including facilities in nursing homes and mobile nail salons, to reach more individuals in need of specialized foot care.
